    The Software Defined Radio and Radar (SDRR) is a uniquely designed module having wideband frequency agile radio and radar module. SDRR along with generation and reception of Radio and Radar, also serves as the central processing unit of the Varuna Payload.
    The system generates and receives radar and communication signals within predetermined frequencies. Varuna’s SDRR was carefully designed and equipped with high-speed sampling & powerful processing devices on a single board.
    To ensure that the SDRR performs seamlessly in the harsh conditions of space, PierSight engineers ran complex analysis and simulations before the SDRR went into manufacturing. Additionally, all safety measures required for the interference and radiation effects of space were mindfully incorporated when designing and integrating electronic and mechanical components.
